Terms of use
These terms govern your use of this website. They are not the terms of any payment service; that would be a separate agreement, signed.
Effective: 10 September 2026
Who these terms are with
This website is operated by Orchura (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2023/103577/07, at 595 Breed Street, Montana Park, Pretoria, 0182, South Africa. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What this website is
This website describes what Orchura does and who it is for. It is information, and nothing on it is an offer to provide a service, a quote, or a commitment to accept you as a customer.
Nothing on this website creates a contract between us. If we do work together, the service will be governed by a written agreement signed by both of us, and that agreement will prevail over anything said here. Completing the contact form starts a conversation and nothing more.
We are not a bank, and this website is not an offer of banking, investment or credit. Money is held by licensed institutions, not by Orchura.
Illustrative figures and diagrams
Some of what you see here is illustrative, and where it is, it says so on the page. Example rates, reference numbers, screens and diagrams are there to show how something works. They are not live prices, not a quote, and not a record of any real payment.
Where we describe delivery times, they describe how the service is designed to behave. Actual timing depends on the route a payment takes and on the banks and systems involved, and a figure on this page is not a service-level commitment. Any commitment we make about timing will be in a signed agreement.
This is not advice
Nothing on this website is legal, tax, accounting, regulatory or financial advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for it. Cross-border payments and exchange control are technical areas, and your own circumstances matter. Please take your own advice before acting.
How you may use the site
You may read this website, and share links to it. You may not:
- use it for anything unlawful, or to break any rule that applies to you;
- try to gain access to any part of it, or any system behind it, that is not public;
- interfere with it, or with anyone else's use of it, including by overloading it;
- submit anything to the contact form that is false, that impersonates someone else, or that contains malicious code;
- scrape, copy or reuse its content or design for a competing purpose;
- present yourself as connected to Orchura when you are not.
Who owns what is on it
The content, design, wording, diagrams, the Orchura name and the Orchura mark belong to us or to whoever licensed them to us, and they are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may quote a short extract with attribution, and you may link to any page. Anything more than that, including reproducing the design or using our name or mark, needs our written permission.
Names of other organisations, where they appear, belong to those organisations and are used only to describe a fact. Their use here does not imply any endorsement in either direction.
Links to other sites
Where we link somewhere else, we do so because we think it is useful. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.
Availability
We do not promise that this website will always be available or free of error. We may change it, take parts of it down, or replace it, at any time and without notice. We may also restrict access to it, for example while we are working on it.
Our liability
We take reasonable care over what we publish here, but we give no warranty that it is complete, current or fit for a particular purpose, and we do not accept liability for loss arising from your reliance on it. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of this website.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 where it applies. Nothing here limits any right you have under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013; how we handle personal information is set out in our privacy notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them or about this website.
Changes, and how to reach us
We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the effective date at the top tells you when it changed. If you have a question about them, email info@orchura.com.
